| General Overview | Always on the look out for his next influx of latenum, Lorpax has a keen eye for business (or the lobes even). He misses his home world deeply and still considers himself as Ferengi as he ever was. He has expensive tastes, and loathes it when he hasn’t got access to his creature comforts; a comfortable bed, good food, and the company of an attractive female. As a doctor he has the ability to be compassionate for his patients, although this is just a fein that he has grown accustom to. Better bedside manner had allowed him to charge more on Ferenginar. |

Background
| Personal History | Having grown up on ferenginar where Latenum is everything, Lorpax learnt very quickly that to get ahead he would have to not only have skills in business, but a professional and much needed skill. So as soon as he came of age he brought his life savings to Gabor, an Emrgency Doctor that he had met in his childhood following a fall into a glass stall in the grand market place. Gabor accepted the payment and took on Lorpax as his apprentice, and trained him as a doctor, as is custom on ferenginar. Although the terms of his apprenticeship were hardly fair, so he began his own side business in arms dealing. Upon completion of his training Lorpax started his own Emergency medical practice, charging each patient for their treatment, as well as entry, and for a seat within his waiting room. His arms dealing however continued along side. After all it was extremely lucrative. It was his arms dealing however that eventually caused his downfall. He had a contract with a Ferengi off of the home world and within federation, to deliver a large shipment of torpedoes. Before he was able to deliver a federation ship stopped him and descovered the weapons in his cargo bay. He was sent need to imprisonments on a federation penal Colony, with charges of both arms dealing and bribery, as he attempted to pay off his captors for release. After 6 years he left a free man and attempted to return to ferenginar. But as he entered Ferengi space he was informed that all his assets had been ceased by the Ferengi Trade Authority, and he had been banished from returning home. This was because he has broken a rule of acquisition after having failing to deliver the weapons to his customer. ‘A contract, is a contract, is a contract, but only between Ferengi.’ Now he seeks employment off world, and the Fawkes just happens to be in the market for a doctor. |
